Water Blasting, Hydro Milling and Hydro Blasting

Water blasting, hydro milling and hydro blasting all mean the same thing; hydro demolition. It is a concrete removal technique that was first developed in the 1970s. It is now a widely recognised method of concrete removal, concrete cutting and surface preparation across the world. Hydro demolition or water jetting is used more often for surface preparation than it is for demolition. Find out more by visiting Sabre Jetting.

Surface Preparation

When concrete is being laid, the old surface will need to be cleaned and prepared to ensure it is level. Preparing the surface can mean the removal of concrete, residue, carbon build up and other loose materials. Surface preparation can be carried out using water jetting and a variety of pressures, nozzles and flows. Visit Sabre Jetting for more details.

Concrete Cutting using Water Jetting Techniques

Cutting concrete by using high pressure water jetting techniques is by far one of the most effective ways of doing it. The other traditional method of concrete cutting is to use an air tool, machine mounted breaker. These traditional methods can cause damage to any steel reinforcing surrounding the concrete, whereas a water jet doesn't. Find out more by visiting us online.
